Luka Koper Approves EUR 1.14 DPS

At the GSM held yesterday, 6 June 2022, Luka Koper approved the counterproposed dividend of EUR 1.14 DPS, meaning that at the price when it was announced, this amounted to a DY of 4.47%. Ex-date is set for 30 August 2022.

Luka Koper published the resolutions of its GSM held yesterday, 6 June 2022. Among several other decisions made, the Company announced the approval of the counterproposed dividend of EUR 1.14 DPS, as compared to the previously proposed EUR 0.71 DPS. This would mean that out of the 2021 accumulated profit of EUR 29.6m, EUR 15.96m would be allocated to dividend payment, while the remaining EUR 13.6m would remain undistributed.

This would also mean that the dividend yield for 2022 would amount to 4.47%, at the price before the dividend approval. The dividend ex-date is set for 30 August 2022, while the payment date is set for 31 August 2022.

Triglav Went Ex-date

As a reminder, the shareholders approved at the General Assembly the distributable profit exceeding 50% of the Company’s consolidated net profit of the previous year in the amount of EUR 3.70 per share, representing a dividend yield of 9.5%.

Triglav went ex-date yesterday, which refers to the dividend in the total amount of EUR 3.70 per share. We note that the dividend yield was 9.5% (at the share price a day before the ex-date). The share price decreased yesterday by 5.37%, which is below DY of 9.5%.

As a reminder, we note that the company has been a consistent dividend payer prior to the pandemic, paying out EUR 2.5 per share for 5 consecutive years (as visible on the graph below).

Trading Activity on BELEX in May 2022

In May 2022, BELEX15 increased by 0.45%, ending the month at 830.92 points.

Belex (Belgrade Stock Exchange) has published the monthly report on the trading activity in May 2022. According to the report, the total equity turnover amounted to EUR 64.4m, an increase of almost 16x MoM (April 2022: EUR 3.8m), translating into an average daily turnover of EUR 3.22m.

Looking over to the companies, the most traded company on the exchange was NIS, with a turnover of EUR 61.2m, which also grew by 3.9% during the month. Next up, we have Dunav osiguranje, with a turnover of EUR 2.1m, which also represents a decline of -7.3% MoM. Following them, we have NLB Komercijalna banka, with a turnover of EUR 310.8k, Dimničar, with a turnover of EUR 177.8k, and Messer Tehnogas, with a turnover of EUR 64.4k.

Meanwhile, the top gainers during the month were Podunavlje, with an increase of 83% MoM, Impol Seval, with an increase of 21.7%, and Goša montaža, with a growth of 15.8%. On the other hand, Revnost lost 29% of its value, Grupa Unileverexport Bačka lost 20.8%, while Putevi lost 15.7% of its value.

The main index on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, BELEX15, grew by 0.45% during the month and ended May at 830,92 points.
