AD Plastik Proposes HRK 8 DPS
At the current share price, dividend yield is 4.2%. Ex-date is 21 July 2021.

AD Plastik published an announcement on the ZSE stating that the Supervisory Board confirmed the draft decision on dividend payment which shall be submitted to the General Assembly for decision-making.

The draft proposes a payment of HRK 8 per share from profit realized in 2020, which translates into a dividend yield of 4.2%.  We note that the ex-date is 21 July 2021.

As a reminder, back in March, an unanimous decision was made on dividend payment from retained earnings in 2019 in the amount of HRK 8 per share. The dividend was paid to shareholders on 26 March 2021. If we take into consideration both dividend payments, ADPL’s dividend yield in 2021 is 8.5%.

In the graphs below, we are bringing you a historical overview of the company’s dividends per share and dividend yield.

Passenger Car Registration in EU up by +24.4% YoY Four Months into 2021
In the first 4 months of 2021, new passenger car registrations are up by 32% in Croatia and 25.8% in Slovenia.

European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) has published their update on new passenger car registration in 2021. In April 2021, new car registrations surged by 218.6% YoY in the EU, primarily due to the low base effect as a result of restrictions back in April 2020.

However, despite the increase, April’s sales volume was almost 300,000 units lower than that recorded in April 2019. Many markets across the EU region posted double or even triple‐digit percentage gains in April. Italy recorded the biggest uplift (+3,276.8%) of the major markets, followed by Spain (+1,787.9%). In Croatia this increase was 285.1% YoY, reaching 4,147 cars. Meanwhile in Slovenia one can observe an increase of 131.9% YoY, to 4,281 cars.

When observing the new passenger car registrations since the beginning of the year, EU demand increased by 24.4% YoY, reaching 3.4m units registered in total, with the last two months providing a substantial boost. Looking at some of the the largest markets, Italy and France posted the biggest gains (up 68.4% and 51.0% respectively). Looking at Croatia, in the same period one can notice a 32% increase to 14,621 cars. Meanwhile Slovenia noted an increase of 25.8% YoY to 20,752 cars.
