Free Float of CROBEX Components

For today, we decided to bring you an overview of the free float among the CROBEX components.

Free float can be described as all shares held by the investors other than the locked-in stocks. For calculating the free float of CROBEX components, we considered free float to equal all individual shareholdings lower than 5%. Besides that, we also included pension funds in the free float calculation, even if they cross the 5% threshold.

Among the 16 CROBEX components, 8 have a free float higher than 50%, indicating that a lot of CROBEX components are still held by a small group of majority shareholders. As observable on the graph, Jadran leads the list, followed by Adris pref. with 94.7% Atlantska Plovidba and Podravka come next with 79.9% and 78.2%, respectively.

HT tops the list in Croatia’s CROBEX index, with a free float of HRK 5.42bn the company recorded a free float almost double the size of their closest follower. In the second place comes Adris’ preferred shares with a free float of HRK 2.99bn, followed by Valamar Riviera preferred shares with a free float of HRK 2.57bn. On the flip side Đuro Đaković led the laggards with a free float market cap of just HRK 37.69m.

M+S Hydraulic H1 2019 Report
In H1, the company recorded a decrease in sales of 9%, a decrease in EBITDA of 21% and a net profit of 28%.

As M+S Hydraulic published their H1 2019 results, we are brining you key takes from it. According to the report, in H1 the company reported sales of BGN 60.8m, representing a decrease of 9% YoY. Furhter, the company’s operating expenses amounted to BGN 52.3m, which is a decrease 5%. The mentioned decrease came from lower expenses for materials were by lower by BGN 2.6m

In H1, EBITDA amounted to BGN 12.6m which represents a decrease of 21%

Going furhter down the P&L, the company reported an EBIT of BGN 8.47m, which is a decrease of 28% YoY.

Net profit amounted to BGN 7.6m, which represents a decrease of 28% YoY.
