The Croatian Bureau of Statistics published their September Employment report. According to it, the registered unemployment rate in September stood at 6.7% (-1.1 p.p. YoY).
As the Croatian Bureau of Statistics published their September Employement report, we are bringing you key takes from it. According to it, in September the total number of unemployed persons amounted to 112,376, representing a decrease of 13.9% YoY. This would be translated to the total registered unemployment rate of 6.7% (-1.1 p.p. YoY). Meanwhile, unemployment rate for women stood at 7.8% in the same period.
In September 2019, the total number of persons in employment in Croatia was 1.56m,of which 0.73m were women. Compared to August 2019, the total number of persons in employment decreased by 0.7%. Meanwhile on a YoY basis, the total number of persons in employment increased in September 2019 by 0.9%
Of that, the total number of persons in paid employment in legal entities amounted to 1.34m, representing an increase of 0.9% YoY or a decrease of 0.1% MoM. In the same period, the total number of persons in employment in trades and crafts and free lances decreased by 4.3% MoM.

The mentioned prospectus was prepered for the purposes of its approval by the Financial Supervisory Authority.
