Ericsson NT Approves HRK 49 DPS
At the current share price, dividend yield is 3.2%. Ex-date is 11 December 2020.

Yesterday, Ericsson Nikola Tesla held the Extraordinary General Meeting in which the shareholders of the company approved the dividend payment of HRK 49 per share. This translates into a dividend yield of 3.2%. Such a dividend per share is 31% lower than the one paid in the previous year.

As a reminder, in mid-May the Management and Supervisory Board of the company proposed HRK 95.51m to be allocated to retained earnings, while later in October proposed the aforementioned dividend payment.

Note that ex-date is 11 December 2020 (Tomorrow).

Cinkarna Celje Publishes Business Plan for 2021
In 2021 the company expects to observe a 28% drop in net profit.

Cinkarna Celje published their 2021 estimates according to which the company expects to reach EUR 165.9m in sales revenues. Such a estimate is somewhat above  the sales revenue for 2021 projected by the Strategic business plan for the period 2019-2023 (EUR 161.8m). Sales in foreign markets is estimated to reach EUR 152.3m in 2021, which is at the same level estimated exports achieved in 2020.

The expected EBITDA for 2021 is EUR 26.6m and exceeds the level set for 2021 in the Strategic business plan, which amounts to EUR 19.7m. At the same time EITDA margin is estimated to reach 16% which is 4 p.p. higher compared to the strategic plan.

Furthermore, the planned net profit for 2021 amounts to EUR 10.6m, which is significantly above the level envisaged for 2021 in the Strategic business plan (EUR 3.9m).

The investments that Cinkarna will make in 2021 will be made primarily in terms of enabling sales growth procurement of new and enabling the maximum availability of existing devices in the production of titanium dioxide.

Investments will be made by individual programs according to needs, their ability and prospects and in line with the five-year strategic plan. The planned amount of investment in long-term assets is 22% higher than in 2020 and amounts to 14.4m EUR.

Activity on the BVB in November 2020
Trading statistics for November 2020 show an average daily turnover of EUR 8.9m (+22.84% YoY).

The Bucharest Stock Exchange published their trading statistics for November 2020, showing a total equity turnover of EUR 178.04m. This translates into an average daily turnover of EUR 8.90m, representing an increase of 22.84%. When comparing MoM, this represents an increase of 39.7%.

When observing the top traded shares, one can notice that Banca Transilvania recorded the highest turnover of EUR 32.7m or 18.35% of total turnover. Teraplast follows with a turnover of EUR 23.3m of 13.1%. Next come Romgaz with EUR 22.3m and Erste Group with 15.3m. These 4 companies account for more than half of the total equity turnover in November.

Just like most European markets, Romania observed a very solid November as BET increased by 9.12%, ending the month at 9,286.11 points. Such a performance of the index marked its highest monthly increase in 2020, while the index is still down 6.93% YTD. The total return index on the other hand is down by 2.17%. The mentioned sharp increase in equities in November came mostly on the back of a positive sentiment regarding the development of the vaccine. As a reminder, in October, BET witnessed a decrease of 5.6%, marking the biggest monthly decrease of the index since March (-16.4%).

When observing the index constituents, 15 of 17 ended the month in green, while 6 observed a double-digit monthly increase. As visible from the graph below, Medlife leads the list with 24.4%. 2 banks follow – BRD (+17%) and Banca Transilvania (+16.1%). On the flip side, Digi Communications leads the losers with a 3.6% decrease.
