In August, the Belgrade Stock Exchange observed an average daily turnover of EUR 0.19m. Meanwhile, BELEX15 recorded an increase of 3.9%.
The Belgrade Stock Exchange reported a turnover of EUR 3.9m in August 2020 (when observing solely equity). This would translate to an average daily turnover of EUR 0.19m.
In August, the most traded share (excluding block transactions) was Metlac with a turnover of EUR 1.45m. Next come Komercijalna Banka with EUR 0.72m and Energoprojekt holding with EUR 0.67m.
BELEX15 observed a very solid performance of +3.88% (ending the month at 693.80 points), representing the highest monthly increase in 2020. As of end August, BELEX15 is still down 13.46% YTD.
Of the index constituents, Komercijalna Banka observed the highest share price increase of 12.5%. As a reminder, the bank announced that it will pay out dividends approved in the previous years, as well as dividend from the last year’s profit. The shareholders will receive RSD 12.27bn in total of which 83.23% belong to the Serbian State. The owners of ordinary shares will receive RSD 723.4 per share (RSD 12.17bn in total), while the owners of preferred shares will receive RSD 290.2 per share (RSD 108.4m in total). Next come NIS and Energoprojekt which ended the month with +5.8% and +5%, respectively. On the flip side, Jedinstvo Sevojno witnessed a decrease of 5.1%.
