AD Plastik Issues Another Announcement Regarding Covid-19 Impact

The company’s Russian factories will not be operating until the end of this week as the Russian Federation has declared this week as non-working in the entire country.

AD Plastik published an announcement on the Zagreb Stock Exchange stating that the decision by the President of the Russian Federation, as a measure to combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus, was made on declaring this week as non-working week in the entire country. This decision also applies to all manufacturers in the automotive industry, which consequently means that the company’s Russian factories, which will not operate during this period.

As a reminder, earlier this month AD Plastik announced that they are forced to stop most of their production at production sites in Croatia, Serbia and Hungary for a while.

INA Signs Onshore Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements

The agreements grant exploration rights to INA for blocks DR-03, SZH-01 and DI14 for the period of 3 years with the possibility to extend it for another 2 years.

INA published an announcement on the Zagreb Stock Exchange stating that the company has, with reference to the Croatian Government’s decision, signed three onshore exploration and production sharing agreements.

The mentioned agreements grant exploration rights to INA for blocks DR-03, SZH-01 and DI14 for the period of 3 years with the possibility to extend it for another 2 years. In case of commercial discovery further 20 years of petroleum exploitation period will follow.

Cinkarna Celje Postpones GSM and Dividend Proposal

The company states that the changes to the financial calendar were necessary due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation.

Cinkarna Celje published a document on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange announcing changes to their financial calendar. The company states that the changes to the calendar were necessary in the light of country-wide measures due to the COVID 19 situation.

To be specific, announcement for the convocation to the GSM, the GSM and the dividend proposal were postponed. Consequently, ex-date and payment date are postponed as well.

As of now, due to the uncertainty of the future development of the situation, new dates were not given.

Alro’s Update on Receiving Petition on Anti-dumping Tariffs Claim

In case of the sheets of Romanian origin, produced by Alro, the requested anti-dumping tariff, proposed to be assessed by the US Department of Commerce, was reduced from 56.22% to 12.51%.

Following up on Alro receiving petition on anti-dumping tariffs claims, the company published an update on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

As a reminder, Alro received a notification from the United States International Trade Commission about the fact that a petition for establishing anti-dumping tariffs for certain aluminium products originated from 18 countries, including Romania, imported in United States between 2017 and 2019.

The notification was modified by the authors of the claim, following the submission of the questionnaires with information about the status of the exports in the United States by the companies targeted by the antidumping tariffs and following the interaction with the United States International Trade Commission .

In case of the products of Romanian origin, subject of the antidumping investigation and produced by Alro S.A., the requested antidumping tariff, alleged by the petitioners to be assessed by the US Department of Commerce, was reduced by them from 56.22% to 12.51%.

The Company noted that they intend to defend in continuation vigorously its position in front of the American authorities involved.
