The value of last week’s taxable invoices in Croatia (27th Sep – 3rd Oct 2021) increased by 24.52% YoY, reaching HRK 4.09bn.
According to the latest announcement published by the Tax Administration of the Republic of Croatia, the value of the last week’s taxable invoices (27th Sep – 3rd Oct 2021) was up by 24.52% YoY or HRK 806.3m. Compared to the same period in 2019, the value of taxable invoices was up 7.43%.
The value of taxable invoices in wholesale and trade in the same period increased by 12.41% YoY, while compared to the same period in 2019, it was up by 7.16%.
Meanwhile, the value of taxable invoices from accommodation and food services recorded solid growth of 95.43%, amounting to HRK 520.62m. It was up by 5.46% compared to the same period in 2019 (or HRK 26.94m).
When observing longer period tracked for pandemic purposes (24th Feb – 3rd Oct 2021), we notice that the value of taxable invoices in wholesale and retail trade increased by 17.64% YoY, while compared to the same period in 2019 it was up by 5.93%.
We note that the accommodation and food services activities in Croatia are still flourishing and are up by 76.33% (or HRK 8.99bn) comparing to the same period in 2020. However, compared to the same period in 2019, the value is still down 6.13%.
