The value of last week’s taxable invoices in Croatia (28 Jun – 4 Jul 2021) increased by 19% YoY, reaching HRK 4.64bn.
The weekly data issued by the Croatian Tax Administration, a department of the Ministry of Finance stated that the total value of taxable invoices issued last week is down by 1.6% (or HRK 77.6m) compared to the same period in 2019, reaching HRK 4.6bn. However, it is encouraging to see that the value of invoices is up 19% when compared to the same week in 2020.
Increase in taxable invoices in wholesale and retail trade in the same period was up by 10.3%, while compared to the same week in 2019, value of invoices is actually up by 2%.
Meanwhile, the value of taxable invoices for the accommodation and food services activities increased by 54.5% YoY (HRK 283m) to 803.764m. The value of invoices is still significantly lower when comparing them to the same period in 2019; -15.2% to be specific (or HRK 143.75m).
