Trading statistics for June 2020 show an average daily turnover of EUR 1.88m (+29% YoY). Meanwhile, SBI TOP ended the month with an 1.9% increase.

The Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) published their trading statistics for June 2020, showing a somewhat higher equity turnover of EUR 39.3m. This translates into an average daily turnover of EUR 1.88m (+29% YoY).

Of the total value traded in the period (excluding block transactions), Krka generated 62.7%, followed by Petrol with 8.6%. Next come Triglav with 7.3% and NLB with 6.9%. Cinkarna Celje follows with 4.5%. These 5 shares generated more than 90% of the turnover recorded by the entire (equity) market.

When observing the total equity market capitalization, it observed a 2.1% MoM increase (or EUR 127.3m) as a result of the continuation of the positive sentiment and currently amounts to EUR 6.53bn.

In June, the Slovenian equity market ended the month in green, with SBI TOP increasing by 1.9% (ending the month at 849.82 points). Note that SBI TOP is still down by 8.24% on a YTD basis, which is the lowest decrease compared to all other regional indices.
