MedLife published an announcement on the Bucharest Stock Exchange announcing that they are continuing their expansion plans and have opened the second hyperclinic in Galati, which offers ambulatory and imaging services. The investment in the new medical unit was approximately EUR 1.5m.

The MedLife Galați Hyperclinica covers an area of 550 square meters and offers patients multidisciplinary medical services and treatments for 17 specialties, including pediatrics, pediatric cardiology, pediatric surgery, pediatric orthopedics, neuropsychiatry, pediatric neuropsychiatry ENT, infectious diseases, allergies, pneumology, oncology and ophthalmology.

The new clinic consists of 12 medical offices for clinical and paraclinical consultations and investigations, and the medical team consists of approx. of 20 employees, doctors and support staff.

MedLife opened the first hyperclinic in 2004, and at present, the company owns 21 such units in Bucharest, Arad, Timișoara, Galați, Iași, Constanța, Craiova, Brașov, Cluj, Ploiești and Oradea.
