Fondul Proprietatea, whose largest position is Hidroelectrica, would receive RON 256m.

Hidroelectrica, Fondul Proprietatea’s largest position, proposed the distribution of RON 1.3bn in the form of dividends from the net profit of RON 1.45bn from 2020, representing a payout ratio of 90%.

Thus, the Ministry of Energy, as the majority shareholder, would receive a dividend of of RON 1.029bn, while Fondul Proprietatea would receive RON 256m.

The dividend payment is subject to approval at the GMS, which will be held on 13 May 2021.
